Being a mom and a traveler/blogger, is it possible?

Quite often I’m asked how do I manage to travel and as of late, to write a blog, and at the same time also be a full-time mom of three. Well the answer to that question is that I have a very good and understanding husband, who also happens to work mostly from home, as a consultant for oil exploration companies. So basically the way that I manage to do all the things that I do, is by cheating, and relying on others to pickup the slack.

Being a mom and a traveler/blogger, is it possible?

My traveling isn’t really as frequent as I’d like it to be, or maybe I should say as it might appear to be to people who are reading this blog. Reason why I’m saying this is because I didn’t travel for quite the number of years. For the past 5 years of so I didn’t travel any further than my car could take me on a tank of gas, 🙂 .

Last trip that I took to Croatia, that I mentioned previously and which I will cover here on the website very soon, was actually the first bit of traveling that I was on in quite the number of years. Like I said, my husband showed mercy and took care of the kids for the three weeks that I spent in Europe. Now that he opened up my appetite again I think he’ll have to do that more often, what do you say Nick? 🙂 I already have a number of trips planned. When I’m not traveling, I “only” have to worry about the kids and writing for the website, “only”. I guess that does kinda make me a super mom. So that’s how I’m managing to be both a mom, and a blogger here. Any other moms out there? How are you managing to travel and blog?
